"My Heart Supports the Troops" (MHSTT) also recognizes that families "back home" need support too.
Thanks to the generosity of many, including factory workers and various veterans groups,
Handmade "Linus" blankets and specially-autographed copies of "Daddy Got His Orders", by Kathy Mitchell, have been donated to children of those serving overseas.
Occasional trips to restaurants and movies have helped put smiles on the children's faces, whose parents continue to be in harm's way.
